November 16—Vidalia High School Lady Indian senior Jolie Bush has signed a letter of intent for a scholarship to play softball at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville.
“ Georgia College has a lot of opportunities for me and it felt like home, and I thought I fit in well with the team and on campus. I want to thank my parents, coaches, and teammates for pushing me to get better every day.” Bush said.
VHS Lady Indians Head Coach Brad Thompson said, “It is a great day for Jolie and her family. I know she has been looking forward to this. She has really progressed as a player over the years and has worked hard and did everything we asked her to do. She leaves VHS as our home run leader and we are going to miss that bat. Georgia College is getting a good one.”
“We are very proud of her and she has worked hard for a long time to get to this point. I think this will be a good school for her academically and that was a big selling point for us.” Joe Bush said.
