November 10—Congratulations to Vidalia High School Lady Indian Regan Norfleet who signed a letter of intent for a scholarship to play softball at Augusta University.
“I just love the environment and campus at Augusta State. The coaches and players were very helpful and inviting to me when I visited. It is close to home so my parents can come and see the games.” Norfleet said.
VHS Coach Brad Thompson said, “Regan has been an outstanding player for us. She is one of the best people I have ever coached. She comes to work every day with a mindset to get better. What is going to be missed about her is not her batting average, defensive skills, base running skills, but her consistency that we got from her with her effort and attitude.”
“I don’t think Vidalia High School has a better one lady that we can offer. She is an excellent athlete and has played softball and basketball for four years. Al you can say is they’ve gotten a jewel.” Coach Chunk Reid stated.
