Lady Indians Place 1st in Annual Track Meet

The Ladies Indians competed in the 2nd Annual Toombs, Montgomery and Tattnall County Track and Field Championships. The Lady Indians placed 1st out of 5 teams. Teams in Attendance: Vidalia, Montgomery County, Tattnall County, Apping County and Swainsboro. 

Placing for the Lady Indians:
Myesha Hall placed 2nd in the 100 meter dash
Jala Murphy placed 4th in the 100 meter dash
Jala Murphy placed 5th in the 200 meter dash
Jasmin Phillips placed 8th in the 200 meter dash
Natalie Owens placed 3rd in the 400 meter dash
Martasia Johnson placed 4th in the 400 meter dash
Ayawana Phillips placed 1st in the 800 meter run
Chantelle Simpkins placed 3rd in the 800 meter run
Keyashia Harden placed 3rd in the 1600 meter run
Emmie Whitaker place 4th in the 1600 meter run
Jakerra McRae place 3rd in the 3200 meter run
Emmie Whitaker placed 4th in the 3200 meter run
Courtney Madison placed 1st in the 100 meter hurdles
Dasia Williams placed 4th in the 100 meter hurdles
Courtney Madison placed 1st in the 300 meter hurdles
Natalie Owens placed 2nd in the 300 meter hurdles
Team A of the 4x100 meter relay team placed 1st. Team consisted of Martasia Johnson, Myesha Hall, Jasmin Phillips and Courtney Madison.
Team B of the 4x100 meter relay team placed 2nd. Team consisted of Dasia Williams, Natalie Owens, Chantelle Simpkins and Ayawana Phillips.
Team A of the 4x400 meter relay team placed 1st. Team consisted of Natalie Owens, Courtney Madison, Ayawana Phillips and Martasia Johnson.
Team B of the 4x400 meter relay team placed 4th. Team consisted of Jakerra McRae, Dasia Williams, Chantelle Simpkins and Treyunna Roundtree. 
Jala Murphy placed 1st in High Jump
 Martasia Johnson placed 3rd in High Jump
Courtney Madison placed 1st in long jump. She jumped a new school record of 19 feet 1 inch.
Myesha Hall placed 2nd in long jump
Jasmine Phillips placed 1st in triple jump
Martasia Johnson placed 4th in triple jump
Jasmine Smith placed 1st in shotput
Courtney Gilcrest placed 4th in shotput
Kayijeah Victoria placed 1st in discus
Jasmine Smith placed 2nd in discus
Courtney Madison was named the High point girl athlete of the 2nd Annual Toombs, Montgomery and Tattnall County Track and Field Championships.
