I am originally from Lumber City, GA, and I attended grade school in Jeff Davis County.  While in high school, I participated in tennis, softball, concert and marching bands, as well as various school and communities clubs and organizations.  I graduated as an honor graduate in 1996.  I then attended Brewton-Parker College for five years and participated in various collegiate sports and activities.  In 2000, I spent a summer as a missionary in Mindanao, Philippines, where I developed a love for teaching high school aged students.  After returning from the Philippines, I finished my degree at Brewton-Parker, and the following year, took a teaching position in Appling County.  After teaching there for one year, I moved to Vidalia and became a member of the Vidalia High School teaching staff.  I have been here since January 2003.  I completed my master's degree in Secondary English Education from Georgia Southern University in December 2007.  In June of 2008, I married the love of my life, Jim Campbell, and we have built our family here in Vidalia.  I have two sons, Tyler and Dawson, and two daughters, Emilynn and Hadley.
